How to update your Nokia Mobile Phone Software

First install Nokia Software updater from the below link.Choose your phone and download the software updater to your pc.If you have already installed nokia pc suite then you will see a 'Update Phone Software' option in its menu.You can proceed by clicking that also.

After downloading install the application.If it is prompting to install or update Nokia PC Suite then proceed software update after completing that.




Before proceeding make sure you have taken a complete back up of data on the phone.
After installation is successfully completed, run Software Updater and connect your phone to your pc when it prompts to.The updater will automatically detect the phone and will check if there is any new software update available for your phone on the internet.If available it will notice you.Updation process will last for 5-15 mins.

Before updating make sure you have an uninterrupted power supply to your pc,if software update stops midway there is a chance your phone stops working.Disconnecting your phone during this update will cause severe damage to your phone.Make sure your battery level is full and your usb cables are plugged in tightly.
